Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. She was raised in a multiethnic household. Jacqueline Fernandez's mom Kim and father Elroy have both been Malaysian. Padukone's father is badminton-player Prakash Padukone. Padukone has been raised both in Copenhagen as well as Bangalore. When she was a teen, Padukone was a participant in numerous National badminton competitions. But she gave up her passion for the game when she decided to pursue a career as a professional model. Padukone's mother tongue is Konkani. She is Mangalorean from her birthplace. Her lineage is from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District in the state of Karnataka, India. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend before retiring in the 80s. The mother of her daughter, who worked for a travel agency, also hails from this area.
